​(2001) Estimating the Number of Orphans at the National and State Levels in Nigeria, 2000-2015​This report provides an estimate of orphans (under age 15) that have lost either one or both their parents to AIDS-related and non-AIDS-related causes for the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) between 2000 and 2015. The paper also briefly describes the methodology and data used to develop the estimates.

​(2003) National Policy on HIV/AIDS​ ​Nigeria, in revising the HIV/AIDS policy, recognizes the importance of multi-sectoral effort to control the epidemic and its effects; accepts that all Nigerians must together accept responsibility for prevention of HIV transition and the care and support of those infected and affected by the virus. Our policy identifies the importance of upholding and protecting the rights of all Nigerians including people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS; addresses the vulnerability of certain social groups including women and children to the HIV/AIDS epidemic; and develops appropriate measures to ensure that all these relevant issues are addressed.

Well-targeted literacy programmes, better trained teachers, dynamic literate environment and functional curricula, are essential needs in promoting and acquiring literacy for all. It is also the repository for the core indicators that guide performance of the national response and to be reported on by NACA.

​Federal Ministry of Education HIV/AIDS Unit Students and Teachers Exploring Possibilities, Initiating School-based Co-curricular Activities for HIV/AIDS​This publication, Students and Teachers Exploring Possibilities, highlights the partnership between the Federal Ministry of Education and Action Health Incorporated, to promote intergenerational dialogue between students and teachers in the federal unity secondary schools in the bid to mitigate the impact of HIV and AIDS amongst young people and promote healthy sexuality. It is also a resource on how Anti-AIDS Clubs in schools can be operationalized, provides basic information on HIV and AIDS as well as how to promote abstinence skills amongst young people. 
(2005) ​The National Policy on HIV/AIDS for the Education Sector in Nigeria ​This policy provides the basis to address issues, and complications from the epidemic as well as strategies to respond to them. These strategies will ensure prevention, access to treatment, care and support for People Living with HIV & AIDS, as well as mitigating of impact arising from the epidemic.
