The goal of this collaboration is to compile the best information available and to improve the quality of data needed for informed decision-making and planning at national, regional, and global levels.

​National Multi-Sectoral Strategic Framework on HIV/AIDS 2003-2007​The National Multi-Sectoral Strategic Framework on HIV/AIDS will translate the National Policy on HIV/AIDS by providing strategic guidance to the planning of programmes, projects and interventions by various stakeholders in the fight against HIV/AIDS. It spells out the basic approaches and principles which guide the National Response and identifies goals, objectives and strategies for the period 2003-2007.
​National Policy on HIV/AIDS​This policy provides the general framework for our collective and individual response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. It clearly outlines the pertinent issues in this struggle. These include, among others, roles of the various sectors, roles in the prevention, care and support in HIV/AIDS, ethics and principles in HIV counseling and testing, the rights of People Living with HIV/AIDS, and the mandate and functions of the Tanzania Commission for AIDS in the national response to the epidemic.

The globalization issues, cross-cutting issues and life-skills are incorporated in carrier subjects.
​The impact of HIV/AIDS on the education sector in Tanzania - Study 1 - Exploring policy, leadership and advocacy response (2004)​This is an impact study, which examines policy framework, leadership commitment, political willingness and advocacy issues on HIV/AIDS, as well as the implementation of HIV/AIDS interventions in the education sector. It is expected to contribute to a better understanding of the role and importance of a comprehensive and effective HIV/AIDS education policy, of committed leadership and of firm and consistent advocacy against the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
